Biography

Professor Rajni Dhingra is a distinguished Indian academic and behavioural scientist specializing in Human Development, Developmental Psychology, and Educational Psychology. She serves as Professor in the Post Graduate Department of Home Science (Human Development) at the University of Jammu. During her distinguished academic career, she has also served as Former Dean Research, Former Dean, Faculty of Science, and Former Registrar of the University of Jammu, providing outstanding academic and institutional leadership.

She earned her PhD from the University of Jammu and completed both her B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Child Development at Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist. Her teaching, research, and mentorship have significantly advanced scholarship in child and adolescent development, educational psychology, family studies, and health education.
